Lucky's First Birthday

Today is Lucky's first birthday (or 7th if you're a dog and reading this) and even though there is a lot going on we wanted to take a time out and acknowledge the Luckster's first year with us. My birthday is June 2nd and because of that every graduation for me and my siblings got combined. So because of that we wanted to make sure Lucky got his own unadulterated birthday time. (I wonder if we can put birthday candles on a turkey for Quentin next year)? We were smart enough to take the time to go out and get him a gift a couple of weeks ago so we would have something on hand in case the baby came early. We got him 5 rawhide bones and one squeaky Christmas bone. Lucky loves the squeakers. He also loves to destroy anything plush. I am attaching some pics. I was only going to put a couple out here but after I went through the Lucky pictures I thought we needed to do a Luckyspective from the last year. I have included a picture when we picked him out, his first bath, learning to swim, his all important first beer, Easter, graduation (which means he was underage when he had that beer - but I won't tell if you won't) and his birthday today. I gave him the green bone today as a birthday gift and hopped in the shower. Twenty minutes later when I came out to the living room the remaining pics are what I found. He made short work of his birthday present but enjoyed it all the same. It's pretty exciting for Lucky with all the guests coming to the door, the new human making all kinds of interesting new noises and he is definitely wondering why he is no longer the center of attention. Even our fish was giving us the business when we came home last night splashing water all over the floor. You would've thunk we were gone for a month. It's already turning into a crazy house!
